An exciting opportunity to join our Aerospace Procurement Supplier Management teams as a Supplier Operations Manager to drive improved performance across our external supply chain. Our Supplier Management teams work closely with our external supply chain partners to make sure that we are delivering on our customer commitments, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring that this is done in a sustainable way. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, or other discipline and 10+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or other discipline and 8+ years of experience
  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or other discipline and 6+ years of experience
  • JD/PhD and 3+ years of experience
  • 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident (for US location)

  • Ability to build and influence senior level relationships both internally and externally
  • Proven delivery of managing change programs, embedding core standards and new ways of working
  • Experienced in operations, planning or supply chain management
  • Program management skills and experience would be advantageous
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement and integrated supplier performance across quality, cost and delivery would be advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational performance improvement through the delivery of targeted supplier interventions
  • Crisis management – Managing supplier interventions and immediate customer impact mitigations
  • Risk Mitigation - Coordination and closure of medium to long term risks
  • Continuous Improvement – Driving continuous improvement and lean interventions in suppliers
  • Support the development of new capability in the external supply chain
