About The Position

Radiac is seeking a production employee for its first- and second-shift production team at its Oswego, Illinois facility. The employee will work in various production departments, following work instructions to meet production goals and quality standards. The role involves operating a variety of machinery and equipment, inspecting and gauging products, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The stated pay range is $19.00–$23.50 per hour, including a shift differential.

Requirements

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read and write English.
Ability to use hands for the entire shift.
Proven work history.
Good attendance record.

Responsibilities

Check work instructions to ensure accurate job settings.
Identify and locate the proper material thickness and gauge.
Run production as instructed on a variety of machinery and equipment.
Visually inspect parts to ensure they meet defined specifications and quality standards before moving to the next station.
Check products against the plan using assigned gauging.
Participate in activities to improve personal skill level, departmental processes, and product quality.
Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Communicate problems and other work-related issues to a Supervisor or Lead.
Receive, understand, and follow written and oral instructions.
Maintain a meets-or-exceeds rating on performance evaluations.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety and attendance requirements.
Resolve day-to-day issues by working effectively with others.
