About The Position

The Production Worker is responsible for moving raw materials and finished products between production areas, storage, and docks using a riding pallet jack or forklift. The role works as an individual contributor with no direct reports and follows facility and organizational policies for workplace conduct, safety, food safety, and good manufacturing practices. The position requires understanding and applying appropriate safety procedures through training, protective equipment when applicable, and compliance with applicable policies, standards, regulations, and laws. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience is required.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Nice To Haves

• 0–1 years of experience in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer raw materials from storage to production using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
• Transfer finished products from the production line; the destination is not specified in the posting.
• Transfer finished products to the freezer.
• Offload delivered raw materials and other supplies to the storage area and organize them according to facility specifications.
• Stack and organize pallets and maintain a clean working area.
• Remove empty combos and garbage pallets from the department.
• Comply with facility and organizational policies governing workplace conduct, workplace safety, food safety, good manufacturing practices, and other operational policies.
• Understand and apply appropriate safety procedures through education, training, use of protective equipment as applicable, and adherence to safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
