About The Position

Canfor is hiring an entry-level Production Worker at its Iron Mountain Sawmill in El Dorado, Arkansas. This full-time, permanent position works Monday through Friday. The role involves rotating through assigned-workspace tasks, supporting production goals, and helping maintain a safe and clean worksite. Hourly wages and bonus opportunities vary by position and shift.

Requirements

• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods, including piling lumber, standing, walking, shoveling, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work in an environment with exposure to environmental elements, moving mechanical equipment, loud noise, and dust.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills and collaborate effectively with coworkers.
• Show a high degree of urgency and attention to detail.
• Have a desire to learn, grow, and succeed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through various job responsibilities and tasks within the assigned workspace on an hourly basis.
• Shovel, lift, and carry boards and debris, and contribute to overall site cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Contribute to a safe work environment.
