About The Position

Canduct Industries is hiring a Production Worker in Boardman, Ohio, to help manufacture electrical insulation used primarily for cooling in oil-cooled transformers. The role involves assembling customized kits and parts to blueprint specifications, conducting quality checks, assisting with packaging, and maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The worker collaborates with other departments to help ensure products are shipped on time. On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a woodworking environment.
Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attendance.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.
Basic math skills, including the ability to measure and calculate.
Ability to perform job-specific physical activities, which may include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive motion.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery.
Build parts to blueprint specifications.
Conduct quality checks using tape measures and calipers.
Use table saws, drill presses, and hand tools to assist in making customer parts.
Assemble parts using glue and other adhesives.
Assist with packaging goods for shipment.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Follow health and safety guidelines.
Work with other departments to help ensure products are shipped on time.
Perform additional duties as assigned within the department.
