About The Position

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools
Ability to accurately measure and document materials
Proficient with basic computer applications
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures
Prior manufacturing or metals industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare melt chamber equipment and charge the furnace for production
Monitor heat chemistries and prepare liquid metal pour for atomization
Perform accurate measuring and weighing of raw materials and oversize powder
Utilize hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Execute refractory tasks, including digging out and installing furnace components
Thoroughly clean, assemble, inspect, and install equipment required for melt preparation
Verify readiness of all materials and equipment prior to atomizing, including documentation review
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure consistent operation
Work independently and in a team-oriented environment to support continuous production
