About The Position

Northern Contours is hiring for a production woodworking role on the first shift. The work takes place in a manufacturing environment and involves following schedules and assignments from the department supervisor, completing on-the-job training, and adhering to company policies and procedures. Employees must maintain a clean and safe work area and perform other related duties as required.

The role requires repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment and frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts. Safety precautions, training, and equipment such as safety glasses, ear plugs, closed-toe shoes, and gloves are required.

Requirements

• Ability to use simple math and basic handheld measuring tools.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while staying focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for eight or more hours per day while bending and twisting.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and use required safety equipment.
