About The Position

The Production Technician safely handles customer cylinders in compliance with standard operating procedures. The role involves understanding the hazards of various gases and the sizes and contents of cylinders, inspecting cylinders, and handling them safely. Training is provided to ensure a complete understanding of the position and department responsibilities. The position reports directly to the Area Lead and Plant/Department Manager. The hourly rate is $24.00.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–1 years of work experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and write and perform mathematical exercises.
• Ability to work with people with a wide variety of personalities.
• Ability to work extended shifts and/or weekends.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to roll or lift 75-pound cylinders.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities
