About The Position

The ACE Production Worker primarily works in the outside production area of AmeriGas’s Cylinder Exchange facility and processes 20-pound barbeque grill cylinders. The role involves sorting, inspecting, cleaning, painting, labeling, and refilling cylinders, ensuring their quality and preparing filled cylinders for shipment. The employee works as part of a production team, follows safety procedures, uses required personal protective equipment, and performs general housekeeping. The production area is not enclosed and may be affected by wind, rain, ice, and snow. Applicants must be willing to complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Successful applicants are subject to substance-abuse testing under company policy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions.
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team.
• Willingness to grow and learn.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per day; the posting also states the ability to stand 8–10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to obtain required state licensing.
• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities
