About The Position

The Production Tech / Forklift Operator leads the safe and efficient production of quality material that meets customer requirements. The role involves following Standard Operating Conditions and Work Package Instructions; moving, loading, and packaging raw and finished goods; collecting quality samples; molding and lab testing; and entering SPC data to determine product conformity. The operator completes box sheets accurately, labels boxes according to product and customer requirements, performs safe and timely changeovers, maintains a clean and safe work area, follows Quality, Safety, and Environmental Procedures, and operates a forklift safely. The position also requires upholding Ravago Code of Conduct standards and performing other duties assigned by the Team Leader.

Requirements

• Regularly lift 55 lbs.
• Repeatedly reach with hands and arms.
• Climb straight incline ladders.
• Use fingers and hands for packaging and writing.
• Have color vision.
• Regularly communicate verbally, read and comprehend information, and type when needed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) and Work Package Instructions.
• Move, load, and package raw and finished goods as required.
• Collect quality samples, perform molding and lab testing, and enter SPC data to determine product conformity.
• Complete box sheets with box numbers, finished-end temperatures, correct weights, and conforming or non-conforming status.
• Ensure boxes are correctly labeled with Product ID, correct weights, and other customer requirements.
• Perform error-free, safe, and timely changeovers.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Follow all Quality, Safety, and Environmental Procedures.
• Operate a forklift safely at all times.
• Uphold Ravago Code of Conduct standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
