About The Position

The Forklift Operator at TreeHouse Foods’ Carrollton, Texas location handles inbound raw materials, inbound finished goods, and outbound finished goods. This is a full-time, permanent position on first shift, working Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with some Saturdays. A shift differential is included. Employees must follow company policies, plant rules, safety regulations, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Ability to operate a stand-up reach forklift.
• Ability to read and understand production schedules and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations to count products and fill orders.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, date, record, and mark inbound receipts.
• Store inbound receipts in designated storage areas.
• Rotate raw materials and packaging supplies using FIFO (First In, First Out).
• Conduct inventory counts on packaging and raw materials.
• Pick, count, and ship finished goods accurately on assigned shifts.
• Unload, separate, count, and stock incoming finished goods accurately.
• Assist with inventory control of finished products.
• Monitor product quality and do not ship damaged goods.
• Change forklift batteries to ensure proper charging.
• Follow company policies, plant rules, and safety regulations.
• Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
