About The Position

The Production Team Member works on the aggregates bagging line, packaging materials such as sand, gravel, and concrete mix. The role operates and monitors bagging equipment, maintains product flow and package quality, troubleshoots basic production issues, and helps keep the work area safe and organized. Team members work with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily production goals and may operate forklifts or other equipment. First-shift hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; second-shift hours are 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Both shifts follow a two-week rotation schedule with every other full weekend off. Part-time starting pay is $19.25 per hour on first shift or $21.25 per hour on second shift. Full-time starting pay is $21.05 per hour on first shift or $23.05 per hour on second shift. The listed hourly rates include shift premiums; an additional $3 per hour weekend premium is offered.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to stand throughout the shift.
Able to lift up to 75 pounds infrequently.
Comfortable bending, squatting, walking, and twisting.
Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor bagging machines to package aggregate materials such as sand, gravel, and concrete mix.
Set up and adjust equipment to achieve proper bag weight and sealing.
Ensure consistent product flow from conveyors, hoppers, and feeders.
Inspect filled bags for accuracy, quality, and defects.
Clear jams and perform basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Keep the work area clean and organized to support safe operations.
Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Operate forklifts or other equipment.
