Production Team Member - (Bagging Line - Aggregates)
About The Position
The Production Team Member works on the aggregates bagging line, operating and monitoring bagging machines to package sand, gravel, and concrete mix. The role involves setting up and adjusting equipment to achieve proper bag weight and sealing, maintaining product flow, checking filled bags, clearing jams, and keeping the work area clean and organized. Team members collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily production goals and may operate forklifts or other equipment. The posting offers full-time and part-time opportunities on first or second shift. Shifts run from 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM on a two-week rotating schedule, with every other full weekend off. Listed starting hourly pay varies by employment status and shift, and weekend premiums are noted.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bagging machines to package aggregate materials such as sand, gravel, and concrete mix.
- Set up and adjust equipment for proper bag weight and sealing.
- Ensure consistent product flow from conveyors, hoppers, and feeders.
- Inspect filled bags for accuracy, quality, and defects.
- Clear jams and perform basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to support safe operations.
- Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment.
