About The Position

The Production Support Specialist supports the local plant manager and leadership team by ensuring data integrity through the collection, analysis, and reporting of plant metrics and operational data. This role is responsible for inventory management, production reporting, KPI tracking, month-end accounting support, daily operational reporting, and administrative processes that enable efficient plant operations. The position also serves as a key link between the facility and corporate support functions, including Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

Requirements

  • Experience working with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse (BW), SAP GTM, or similar ERP systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work overtime as required.
  • Friendly, collaborative, self-motivated, and customer-focused with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the plant manager by preparing and reporting daily production, inventory, and Daily Production Wire data.
  • Generate and maintain monthly key performance reports (KPRs) and Productivity Scorecards.
  • Ensure production data is accurately reported in SAP/BW and reconcile system data with plant records.
  • Monitor and review controls related to inventory, commodity purchases, shipments, and production reporting.
  • Coordinate plant licensing requirements and regulatory documentation.
  • Support administrative activities, including training coordination, travel arrangements, and office supply management.
  • Provide cross-functional support through cross-training and vacation coverage.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, including SOX compliance activities and documentation requests.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and respond to information requests from plant and corporate teams.
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote compliance with safety, food safety, quality, and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required.
