About The Position

The Production Support Senior leads work within the cell to ensure daily tasks are completed, engaging with co-workers around safety, quality, delivery, and production goals. This role also serves as a back-up Assistant Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Partner positively with work cell associates and management to identify improvement opportunities and support change.
• Lead the daily work cell huddle by reviewing metrics and challenging the cell to meet and exceed goals.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Promote and apply quality guidelines to ensure a quality product.
• Welcome transfers and new employees to the work cell.
• Lead workload-balancing decisions within the work cell.
• Encourage employees and help resolve issues as they occur to keep production moving.
• Learn the Assistant Production Supervisor role and serve as a back-up to Front Line Management.
• Model growth and influence others to understand appropriate reasons for change and improvement initiatives.
