About The Position

The Round Tops department is hiring Assemblers to participate in the entire window-building process. The department produces high-profile windows that require skilled artisan work, attention to detail, technical skills, and craftsmanship. Employees who interview for and accept a position on the team may receive up to a 5% hourly wage increase under updated department pay grading. Pay grades are RT Assembler I: PG 7, RT Assembler II: PG 8, and RT Assembler III: PG 10. Compensation is $18.50–$23.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Marvin window and door platforms.
• Strong woodworking proficiency and the ability to read window work orders and schematics to build products from prints.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and complete work according to quality guidelines.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

• Work with and care for equipment in the Round Tops department, including building jigs and fixtures to help others build units successfully.
• Provide alternative solutions for building unique windows as needed.
• Work with R&D, Special Project Staff, Architectural, and other teams to complete sophisticated window builds.
• Provide mentorship, training, and instruction to expand team members’ abilities with Round Tops builds.
• Promote safe work habits and maintain good housekeeping.
