About The Position

The Quality Senior for RTPG monitors manufacturing to ensure parts meet performance specifications and customer quality requirements while supporting production goals. This hybrid role spends approximately 60% of its time on the production floor, providing hands-on support through machine operation, training, mentoring, resolving quality-related issues, and using quality data and experience to guide production decisions and improvement actions. The remaining 40% is dedicated to quality control, including in-process audits and maintaining controlled documentation and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform designated audits and inspections according to the department audit schedule, including Control Plan Audits, tooling checks, calibration checks, finished product inspections, and assistance with process audits.
• Provide manufacturing support on quality-related subjects, such as non-conforming materials or parts, seeking assistance from senior quality members or technicians as needed.
• Interpret audit and calibration results and communicate findings to production associates, trainers, and floor management; escalate issues to senior quality members and technicians as needed.
• Assist with on-the-floor training and communication about quality specifications, measurement devices, and procedures.
• Support production by engaging directly in production processes, learning operational tasks and challenges, and applying that experience to support team goals and consistent production of high-quality products.
• Operate machines and provide hands-on production-floor support.
