About The Position

The Production Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high production, quality, and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. The position requires understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general production-line maintenance and staffing. It supervises personnel performing related tasks and activities, and includes communicating company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members, encouraging and developing the team, and addressing personal and professional concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills are helpful.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Demonstrate responsible use of approved AI tools, protect sensitive information, follow company policies, critically validate AI-generated outputs, and apply professional judgment. As a people leader, drive responsible AI adoption, enable effective use of approved solutions, identify opportunities to improve team performance through AI, and ensure accountability for AI-supported outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Check daily production orders to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
• Ensure every position is filled before production-line start-up.
• Oversee Team Member exercises and job rotation to facilitate ergonomics.
• Ensure machinery performs to the highest possible standard.
• Ensure workstations pass USDA inspection.
• Promote safety daily and through monthly safety meetings.
• Ensure accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and product coding.
• Know and communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members.
• Encourage Team Members and build an effective team.
• Perform human relations functions, including training, retention, and counseling on personal and professional problems.
• Oversee processing operations and work with other supervisors to solve problems.
• Keep records of reworked or returned product.
• Provide continuous education on the importance of quality.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.
