About The Position

The Production Supervisor – Floating supervises employees in the daily production of corrugated board and converting board. The supervisor trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; evaluates performance; rewards and disciplines employees; promotes safety, quality production, and teamwork; and resolves conflicts. The role leads and motivates employees by demonstrating strong behavior, attitude, and performance while supporting efficient operations, a safe work environment, and quality products. It communicates operational information orally and in writing with crew members, supervisors, plant management, office personnel, customers, and vendors, and promotes compliance with organizational safety, quality, and other programs and initiatives.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Prior manufacturing leadership experience required.
Ability to cover all shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
Two or more years of manufacturing supervisor experience.
Preferred competencies: Action Oriented, Business Insight, Communicates Effectively, Courage, Customer Focus, Develops Talent, Instills Trust, and Organizational Savvy.
