About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for its Sheboygan, Wisconsin facility. The role leads an operating team and supports the development of people, stronger operations, and continuous improvement across processes and systems. The supervisor is part of the plant leadership team and works with maintenance, quality, and commercial partners to deliver corrugated solutions. The facility is part of a growth-oriented network focused on customer partnerships, equipment capability, and developing manufacturing leaders. The position is guided by Koch’s Principle-Based Management philosophy and emphasizes safety, quality, operational excellence, employee development, and transformational initiatives. The supervisor plans and directs work for hourly production employees, coaches and develops the team, and supports reliable, on-time production while minimizing waste.

Requirements

Experience supervising employees in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or military environment.
Experience coaching and developing a team.
Experience in the corrugated packaging/containerboard industry, working on a corrugator or in a converting operation.
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with the KIWI application.
Experience working within a unionized workforce.
Experience with SQF or BRC.

Responsibilities

Lead an operating team in compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements.
Promote employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Investigate incidents and participate in resolving their causes.
Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production.
Ensure best practices are followed to minimize waste at machine centers.
Address key issues and concerns and work with employees from other departments to ensure quality and on-time production.
Plan, assign, and direct work for hourly production employees.
Appraise employee performance, provide feedback, help resolve complaints, and hold employees accountable as needed.
Communicate issues and results daily.
