About The Position

The Production Supervisor oversees associates in the Service Bureau production department. The role is responsible for coordinating workflow and department responsibilities, maintaining equipment functionality and upkeep, and ensuring accurate inventory of materials to meet production needs. It also supports safe, clean, and orderly work areas and coordinates material movement and shipments with other departments. This is an on-site, third-shift role, Monday through Friday, from 12:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Five years of related experience in the production or printing industry.
• At least five years of previous supervisory experience.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate PC skills with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
• Previous experience using an ERP software system.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Service Bureau associates and leads and coordinate workflow and responsibilities.
• Maintain Service Bureau equipment, including its upkeep, maintenance, and repairs.
• Keep work areas safe, clean, and in good condition.
• Maintain ERP system programs to accurately enter and release inventory items.
• Research inventory discrepancies and determine an appropriate course of action.
• Coordinate with other departments on procedures for moving materials internally and offsite.
• Double-check shipments leaving the facility for errors.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop department staff.
• Conduct staff performance reviews and suggest procedural improvements.
