About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Converting) to lead an operating team at its Sheboygan, Wisconsin facility. The role focuses on developing people, strengthening operations, and driving continuous improvement across processes and systems. The supervisor works as part of the plant leadership team and collaborates with maintenance, quality, and commercial partners to deliver corrugated solutions. The position requires a proactive leader committed to safety, quality, operational excellence, and transformational initiatives.

Requirements

Experience supervising employees in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or military environment.
Experience coaching and developing a team.
Experience working in the corrugated packaging/containerboard industry on a corrugator or in a converting operation.
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring visa transfer or sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with the KIWI application.
Experience working within a unionized workforce.
Experience with SQF or BRC.

Responsibilities

Lead an operating team in compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements.
Foster a culture based on the Principle-Based Management (PBM®) Philosophy.
Promote employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies; investigate incidents and participate in resolving their causes.
Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production.
Ensure best practices are followed to minimize waste at machine centers.
Address key issues and concerns and work with employees from other departments to ensure quality, on-time production.
Plan, assign, and direct work for hourly production employees; appraise performance, provide feedback, assist in resolving complaints, hold employees accountable as needed, and communicate issues and results daily.
