About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the third-shift converting team at its Sheboygan, Wisconsin facility. The role focuses on developing people, strengthening operations, and driving continuous improvement across processes and systems. The supervisor is part of the plant leadership team and collaborates with maintenance, quality, and commercial partners to deliver corrugated solutions. The position calls for a proactive leader with strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Experience supervising employees in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or military environment.
• Experience coaching and developing a team.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging/containerboard industry on a corrugator or in a converting operation.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa transfer or sponsorship.

• Experience working with the KIWI application.
• Experience working with a unionized workforce.
• Experience with SQF or BRC.

Responsibilities

• Lead an operating team in compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Foster a culture based on the Principle-Based Management (PBM®) Philosophy.
• Promote employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to identify hazards, implement mitigation strategies, investigate incidents, and help resolve their causes.
• Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production.
• Ensure best practices are followed to minimize waste at machine centers.
• Address operational issues and work with employees in other departments to support quality and on-time production.
• Plan, assign, and direct work for hourly production employees; appraise performance, provide feedback, assist with complaints, hold employees accountable as appropriate, and communicate issues and results daily.
