About The Position

The Production Supervisor leads and coordinates manufacturing activities for fresh food products, including cleaning, preparation, filling, processing, and packaging. The role is responsible for safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, while motivating the team to meet production goals. The position is on-site in Downers Grove and is scheduled for the first shift. Pay is $24–$31 per hour, depending on experience and skill set, plus differential. The Fresh Factory is vertically integrated from farm to shelf and supports emerging food and beverage brands as a manufacturing and growth partner.

Requirements

At least 3 years of food manufacturing experience.
Strong communication and people management skills.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
Food Handlers Certificate.
Basic computer proficiency.
Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods and bend or stoop as needed.
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification.
Experience with data analysis.
Lean Six Sigma experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Direct daily production operations to meet targets within specified timeframes.
Supervise, train, and motivate a team of 5 or more direct reports, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Oversee material and process flow, conducting inspections to support efficiency and quality.
Complete and submit required reports and documentation at the end of each shift.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, safety, quality assurance, logistics, and finance departments.
