About The Position

B and D Foods/Mountain View Packaging is hiring full-time Production Operators to help produce food products from preparation through packaging. The role involves hands-on work preparing and cooking products, operating production equipment, inspecting product quality, packaging finished products, keeping production records, and maintaining a clean work area while following food safety procedures. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with opportunities for overtime. Previous food manufacturing experience is preferred. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Good communication skills and a dependable, team-focused attitude.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to perform duties that may include repeatedly lifting 25 pounds.
Availability for occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

Prepare products by cutting whole-muscle proteins to the required size and removing excess fat, bones, and cartilage.
Operate production line equipment, including shakers, tumblers, mixers, and packaging equipment, according to established procedures.
Inspect products, separate cooked pieces, break up clusters, and remove items that do not meet quality standards.
Fill bags, bulk totes, and boxes; pack outer cases; and stack finished cases onto pallets for shipping.
Record lot numbers, best-by dates, and other production information, and verify that boxes are labeled correctly.
Report unusual equipment noises, changes on the production line, and potential foreign material or contamination.
Maintain a clean work area and help wash equipment during protein changeovers.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
