About The Position

embecta is hiring Production Operators for its advanced manufacturing facility in Holdrege, Nebraska, where teams produce insulin delivery syringes. The facility operates around the clock and produces 2.3 billion medical devices annually. Production Operators work in areas such as Molding, Assembly, Packaging, or Warehouse, setting up and operating relevant machinery and equipment to mold, assemble, and package insulin syringes. The role includes product inspections, in-process quality checks, completing inspection and quality documentation, moving materials and finished products as needed, monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and working with the team to maintain safe and efficient operations. Accurate documentation is essential in this regulated medical-device environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience working with or fixing manufacturing equipment.
Excellent attention to detail when reading and completing product quality checks and documentation.
Comfort using computers and basic software such as Microsoft Office.
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
Reliable, organized, and ready to learn.
A strong focus on safety, incorporating safety considerations into daily work and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Put on required personal protective equipment and safety shoes.
Check in with the team and review the day's goals at the start of the shift.
Set up and operate relevant machines and equipment in Molding, Assembly, Packaging, or Warehouse.
Inspect products and perform in-process checks to ensure quality standards and regulatory requirements are met.
Complete inspection and quality documentation accurately.
Move raw material supplies and finished products to locations within the facility as needed.
Monitor equipment output and identify issues; help troubleshoot problems efficiently.
Work with the team to keep operations running smoothly and safely, prioritizing safety.
