About The Position

embecta is hiring Production Operators for its advanced Holdrege manufacturing facility, where teams produce insulin delivery syringes. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and this opening is for a 12-hour day shift. Depending on assignment in Molding, Assembly, Packaging, or Warehouse, the operator sets up and operates relevant equipment used to make and package insulin syringes. The role includes inspecting products, performing in-process quality checks, completing required documentation, moving materials or finished goods when needed, monitoring equipment, and working with teammates to maintain safe and efficient operations. Accurate paperwork is essential for product safety, regulatory compliance, and traceability. The company provides onboarding and training.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience working with or repairing manufacturing equipment.
Excellent attention to detail when reading and completing product quality checks and documentation.
Comfort using computers and basic software such as Microsoft Office.
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
Reliable, organized, and ready to learn.
Strong focus on safety, integrating safety considerations into daily work and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Gown up using required personal protective equipment and safety shoes.
Check in with the team and review shift goals.
Set up and operate relevant machines and equipment in Molding, Assembly, Packaging, or Warehouse.
Inspect products and perform in-process checks to verify quality and regulatory requirements.
Complete inspection, quality, and other required documentation accurately.
Move raw material supplies and finished products to locations in the facility when needed.
Monitor equipment output and identify issues; help problem-solve when problems occur.
Work collaboratively to keep operations running smoothly and safely, prioritizing safety.
