About The Position

The Production Operator works at embecta’s Holdrege manufacturing facility, producing insulin delivery syringes. Depending on assignment in Molding, Assembly, Packaging, or Warehouse, the operator sets up and operates relevant machinery and equipment, performs product inspections and in-process quality checks, completes quality and regulatory documentation, and may move raw materials and finished products. The role includes monitoring equipment output, helping resolve issues, and working with a team to maintain safe and efficient operations. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and this opening is for a 12-hour day shift. Employees receive onboarding and training.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience working with or repairing manufacturing equipment.
Strong attention to detail when reading and completing product quality checks and documentation.
Comfort using computers and basic software such as Microsoft Office.
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
Reliability, organization, and willingness to learn.
A strong focus on safety in daily work and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Wear required personal protective equipment and safety shoes.
Check in with the team and review the goals for the shift.
Set up and operate machinery and equipment in Molding, Assembly, Packaging, or Warehouse, as assigned.
Inspect products and perform in-process checks to ensure quality standards and regulatory requirements are met.
Complete inspection and quality documentation accurately.
Move raw materials and finished products to required locations as needed.
Monitor equipment output and identify issues.
Help troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues.
Work with the team to maintain safe and efficient operations, prioritizing safety.
