About The Position

S.B. Foot Tanning Company is hiring overnight Production Operators at its Red Wing, Minnesota tannery. Production Operators contribute to manufacturing leather by working safely, producing quality output, paying close attention to detail, and working efficiently. Employees may work independently and/or as part of a team. The facility is a union shop.

The third-shift schedule is 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, with availability for overtime as needed. Starting pay is a $24.95 hourly base rate plus a $0.75 shift premium, for a total starting wage of $25.70 per hour. After qualifying on a specific job, the base rate may range from $24.95 to $30.60 per hour. Offers are contingent on satisfactory background-check and physical-exam results, including a drug screen.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in a light industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and toss up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to frequently stand, twist, bend, grasp, and perform additional movements required by specific jobs.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Satisfactory background check and physical exam, including a drug screen, as a condition of employment.
