About The Position

As a Production Operator at Wis-Pak, you will help ensure products meet quality and safety standards while supporting the smooth operation of packaging lines. The role includes maintaining a clean and safe work environment, completing accurate package changeovers, and preparing required documentation. The position is located in Norfolk, Nebraska, and pays $22.90 per hour. The schedule is 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Requirements

Read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English at a level necessary to perform the job's essential duties.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
Be self-motivated, dependable, and have a strong work ethic.
Prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Have forklift driving skills and be able to pass the Forklift Operators License test.
Be able to walk or stand for long periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Be willing to work in temperatures ranging from 60–90°F or higher.
Be flexible to work overtime during peak production periods.
Be authorized to work permanently in the United States; the company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Follow safety, health, quality, food safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
Understand and properly operate safety switches, interlocks, and other safety devices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
Frequently check product and case codes for accuracy and legibility.
Perform package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
Complete and file required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.
