About The Position

Wis-Pak is hiring a Production Forklift employee in Norfolk, Nebraska. The role supports beverage packaging operations by helping maintain product quality and safety, keeping work areas clean and safe, performing accurate product changeovers, and completing required documentation. The schedule is 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with flexibility to work overtime during peak production periods. The stated pay is $22.90 per hour.

Requirements

Read, write, and communicate effectively in English, at a level necessary to perform the essential duties.
Follow written and verbal instructions.
Work as part of a team and independently.
Be self-motivated and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
Prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Have forklift driving skills and be able to pass the Forklift Operators License test.
Be able to walk or stand for long periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 75 pounds.
Be willing to work in temperatures ranging from 60–90°F or more.
Be flexible to work overtime during peak production periods.
Be authorized to work permanently in the United States; the company will not sponsor employment visas.
Comprehend English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

Follow safety, health, quality, food safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
Understand and properly operate safety switches, interlocks, and other safety devices.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
Check product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility.
Perform package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
Complete and file required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.
Support the smooth operation of packaging lines.
