Requirements

Ability to efficiently set-up, operate, monitor and adjust shop equipment to ensure a conforming product This can include the furnaces, straighteners, saws and shot blast
Ability to follow direction provided on schedules, work orders and work instructions
Ability to follow oral and written instructions given by the crew supervisor
Ability to perform material handling tasks and hardness tests with the equipment provided
Ability to perform measurements with tape measures/calipers, etc

Responsibilities

Interpret work orders and work instructions to set-up and operate equipment
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations
Perform transactions and data entry at computer workstations
Safely operate material handling equipment to transport and position material for processing This can include bridge cranes, jib cranes and forklifts
Unloading and loading of trucks and/or railcars with overhead cranes
