Production Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Production Operator is a front-line member of the Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, supporting production processes that add value and quality to inputs and create high-quality final products. The role involves converting raw materials into finished products for customers, including operating machinery and equipment and packaging finished products. It is part of the Nutra Blend business, which manufactures and distributes vitamins, trace minerals, micro-ingredients, and antibiotic premixes for the feed industry. The position is on 2nd shift, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The listed pay is $21.75 per hour, plus a $1.00-per-hour shift differential if applicable. Weekends, overtime, and holidays may be required as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a respectful manner.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
- Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, including areas where dust and chemicals may be present.
Nice To Haves

- Machine operation and/or forklift experience.
