Production Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
In this Utility Operator role, you will be a key member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to inputs and help create high-quality final products. You will develop skills and experience taking raw materials and producing final products for customers, including operating machinery and equipment and packaging the final product. The role is part of the Purina Animal Nutrition business, which serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States with nutritional products and practices that support animal health and productivity.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, and a consistently respectful approach.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of manufacturing work experience.
- Machine operation and/or forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety processes and insist on safe practices from yourself and others.
- Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
- Multitask and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow quality standards and standard operating procedures during production.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Collaborate with Leads and Management and follow their instructions to accomplish daily work assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
