About The Position
The Production Operator I operates basic machinery and supports efficient production processes under supervision. The role follows established procedures, maintains safety standards, and performs routine checks to ensure product quality. The position is located in Hazel Park, Michigan, and works the second shift from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of machinery and production processes.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Computer skills, including experience with ERP systems.
- Fluency in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate basic machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Load and unload materials into machinery.
- Monitor machine operations and report issues to the supervisor.
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety and company policies.
- Assist in troubleshooting machine issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
