About The Position

Responsible for operating basic machinery and ensuring efficient production processes under supervision. The role involves following established procedures, maintaining safety standards, and performing routine checks to ensure product quality. The position is located in Hazel Park, MI, and works the third shift from 10 pm to 6 am EST.

Requirements

Basic understanding of machinery and production processes.
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Basic math skills.
Computer skills, including ERP systems.
Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.
High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
Ability to lift and move materials, including frequent lifting of average-weight material up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and/or reaching over a full 8–12-hour work shift.
Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full 8–12-hour work shift.
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly on concrete over a full 8–12-hour work shift.
Ability to work in noise levels that may require hearing protection over a full 8–12-hour work shift.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate basic machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Load and unload materials into machinery.
Monitor machine operations and report any issues to the supervisor.
Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all safety and company policies.
Assist in troubleshooting machine issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
