About The Position

Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a motivated and skilled Operator to join its Grain Operations team. The Operator assists with grain elevator operations and ensures trucks and trains are properly loaded. The role involves operating machinery and equipment, handling grain, inspecting and maintaining facility equipment, monitoring operations and recording data, and collaborating with customers, coworkers, and management. The position requires following applicable safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to perform physical duties that may include bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, using personal protective equipment including a respirator.
Ability to work in elevated areas four feet and above.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.

Responsibilities

Operate processes, machinery, and equipment, including loading and unloading trucks and railcars.
Handle grain by filling or reclaiming ground piles, transferring grain, and blending.
Operate bobcats, loaders, and tractors.
Inspect facility buildings, grounds, and equipment; troubleshoot, perform light maintenance, and complete repairs.
Monitor equipment and control systems, process samples, and use computer systems to enter and record data.
Interact with customers, peers, and management to provide customer service, improve facility operations, and support teamwork.
Follow safety regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures, including OSHA regulations, vehicle and fleet safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
