About The Position

This is a temporary, seasonal position working approximately October through November or December. The employee assists the location with general lot duties and follows applicable safety rules and regulations. The role supports facility upkeep, equipment maintenance, and soil sampling, and requires regular communication with management about daily activities, needs, and accomplishments. Overtime is required as the season demands.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED; experience may offset this requirement.
• Maintain the physical condition needed to regularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance, and complete other physical duties required at an agricultural location.
• Regularly walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel, and grasp.
• Work required overtime as the season demands.

Nice To Haves

• Prior agricultural experience is a plus.
• Basic mechanical skills for daily equipment maintenance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds, including cleaning the lot, moving snow, spraying weeds, and mowing grass.
• Ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with equipment maintenance.
• Perform soil sampling.
• Communicate daily activities, needs, and accomplishments with management.
