About The Position

This temporary, seasonal position works approximately October through November or December. The employee assists the location with general lot duties and is expected to follow safety rules and regulations. Duties include housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds, equipment maintenance, soil sampling, and communicating daily activities, needs, and accomplishments to management. Additional job-related duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED; experience may offset this requirement.
• Maintain good physical condition to regularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance, and carry out other physical duties needed to operate an agricultural location.
• Regularly walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel, and grasp.
• Work required overtime as the season demands.

Nice To Haves

• Prior agricultural experience.
• Basic mechanical skills for daily equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds, including cleaning the lot, moving snow, spraying weeds, and mowing grass.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Assist with equipment maintenance.
• Perform soil sampling.
• Communicate daily activities, needs, and accomplishments with management.
