About The Position

This position performs operations activities related to Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS) loadout, inspection, and general operations at an ethanol production facility. Work is prescribed, completed with close supervision and little autonomy, and duties and methods are clearly defined. The facility operates 24x7, and the role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends during high-demand periods. Work takes place indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures, and may involve dust, fumes, moderate noise, and uneven surfaces.

Requirements

• Minimal job-related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Must be able to stand or sit for an extended period of time.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to climb, stoop, or kneel at heights up to 180 feet.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends during high-demand periods.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous grain operations experience preferred.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities, such as probing trucks.
• Operate grain handling and receiving equipment, provide customer service to drivers, and enter shipment details.
• Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues, resolving or escalating issues when necessary.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment.
• Assist with the movement of railcars.
• Perform general housekeeping activities.
