About The Position

Avery Dennison is seeking a Production Machine Operator to operate manufacturing lines in a performance-driven environment. The role involves setting up and changing over equipment, monitoring machines to meet production targets, troubleshooting malfunctions, and maintaining close tolerances and zero-defect quality. Operators are expected to prioritize safety, support coworkers in meeting site goals, take ownership of equipment, and adapt to changing production priorities. The position is based at the company’s Greenfield facility and follows a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on a 2-2-3 rotation, averaging approximately 15 workdays per month. Initial onboarding and training take place on day shift before transition to the permanent night rotation. Starting pay is $22.07 per hour, with a $2 per hour night-shift differential, paid weekly. Benefits begin on the first day of employment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Mechanical curiosity and technical aptitude, including an interest in understanding how machines work.
Dependability and a consistent attendance record.
Ability to meet the physical demands described, including standing or walking, frequent movement, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working in an environment with varying temperatures.
Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening.
Completion of a pre-hire medical questionnaire upon accepting the role.
