Production Lead (Luling, LA)
About The Position
The Production Lead assists with day-to-day store operations and production performance to meet or exceed budget while complying with company standards, policies, and procedures. When assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager, the Production Lead performs supervisory duties and may act in a supervisory capacity during scheduled work hours. The role involves processing donated goods for the sales floor, maintaining production quality and output, supporting and motivating employees and trainees, and helping create a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. The Production Lead must be able to perform Production Associate duties and attend assigned shifts. Work may include an alternate schedule at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and six months of supervisory experience, or at least 90 days of service-industry experience.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
- Ability to interact professionally and productively with a diverse range of people.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including nights and weekends, and occasionally long hours.
- Ability to use repetitive hand movements for buttoning, sorting, hanging, and zipping garments.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, stoop, and stretch.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of high volume.
- Successful completion of Retail training.

Responsibilities
- Help meet or exceed production goals, including a minimum of 110 garments per hour at a minimum quality standard of 90%.
- Ensure donated goods are properly processed and ready for the store floor.
- Model professional performance for employees and trainees.
- Process donated goods in the backroom and help create a positive public image through a clean store, attractive displays, and presentable, personable personnel.
- Maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the backroom.
- Keep the store clean and free of hazards by vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Follow personnel and safety policies and procedures and ensure Production Associates comply with them.
- Perform the duties of Production Associates.
- Attend regularly scheduled shifts assigned by the manager.
- Assist the Store Manager or Production Manager in achieving or exceeding monthly and annual production goals and help implement contingency plans when goals are not being met.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with store and production personnel and motivate them to perform well.
- Market Goodwill and explain its mission to the public.
