About The Position

ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Lead to supervise and lead a production team of 35–50 hourly employees at its Crawfordsville, Indiana facility. The role oversees employee productivity and the safe use of equipment in a manufacturing environment, with responsibility for production quality, output, and machine efficiency. The position is onsite on the second shift, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed production schedules and goals.
Assign responsibilities to production employees and monitor their performance.
Coordinate with the Plant Manager and other supervisors to resolve production challenges, recommend process improvements, and align work with organizational goals.
Lead, motivate, and guide employees to improve productivity, product quality, and efficiency.
Conduct and support hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
Manage production schedules and keep records accurate and up to date.
Ensure employees are trained to work safely and efficiently.
Counsel employees in accordance with company policies.
Conduct shift meetings and communicate expectations.
Maintain production equipment and reduce unplanned downtime.
Monitor, control, and reduce scrap or waste.
Promote a positive and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
