Assembly Lead
About The Position
The Assembly Lead supports and leads daily assembly operations to meet production goals. The role involves hands-on assembly using specialized tools and equipment, ensuring accurate work that meets quality standards, maintaining an organized and efficient production environment, and following safety procedures and production instructions. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work either first or second shift according to production needs; shift assignments may change periodically. Second-shift hours typically run from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM–2:00 AM, depending on production demands. This is a temp-to-hire position, with benefits available upon full-time hire.
Requirements
- Previous assembly experience.
- Experience using a Rivet Squeeze, Pull Rivet Gun, Roller Swaging, and Arbor Press.
- Experience working with bushings, rivets, nut plates, bearings, Hi-Lok, and Helicoils.
- Experience mixing and applying adhesives, sealants, primers, and Semkits.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be flexible and willing to work first or second shift as production needs change.
