Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Production Kitter to join them. You will report to the Logistics Manager and will have an onsite, 1st shift work schedule in Highland Heights, Ohio.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and stock components on inventory shelves, recording the product locations in the ERP system.
  • Prepare production kits with components and supplies, ensuring all part number and quantities match job requirements and all relevant Pos and Lot Numbers are recorded whenever necessary.
  • Deliver production and assembly kits to the appropriate production floor and ensure technicians have all the necessary materials to complete jobs.
  • Support the process of cycle counting inventory and maintain inventory accuracy through proper recording and tracking of transactions.
  • Monitor and maintain non-inventory items through a Kan ban system, and request reorders when necessary.
  • Support Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Coordinators with packaging and labeling of finished goods as required.
  • Support Fiber Optic Technicians as required to maintain the flow of kits on the production floors.
