About The Position

The Production Helper manually prepares and packages products by performing tasks across various departments in a production environment. Work includes preparing materials and pallets, handling and cleaning products, operating basic packaging equipment and conveyors, inspecting products for quality, labeling and dating boxes, counting and packing finished products, maintaining clean work areas, and following safety and quality procedures. Other duties may be assigned. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• No prior experience or training is required.
• Ability to read simple words and recognize similarities and differences in words and numbers.
• Ability to write and speak simple sentences.
• Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with two-digit numbers and multiples of 10 and 100.
• Ability to use common sense to follow simple one- or two-step instructions and handle routine situations.
• Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including lifting and moving products weighing up to 100 pounds.
