Army National Guard Units•Richmond, VA

About The Position

This is a National Guard Title 32 excepted service position with the VA G4, National Guard. The Production Controller, GS-1152-07, establishes plans, schedules, and controls maintenance and repair for a variety of vehicles and equipment, including combat vehicles, engineering and mobile equipment, tracked vehicles, artillery, communications and electronic equipment, guided missile systems, and small arms. The position implements maintenance plans, monitors progress, studies directives and modification work orders, and adjusts production planning to account for their effects on unit shop capability. The role maintains repair priorities based on factors such as Force Activity Designator, pacing items, Equipment Readiness Codes, available funds, commander's priorities, state and national priorities, and supported units. It assists with management, reporting, and accountability of reportable MTO&E or TDA Line-Item Numbers. Under supervisory guidance, it prioritizes resources to support readiness, training, and mobilization; analyzes repair methods and recommends controls to meet deadlines; and may provide day-to-day technical guidance to lower-graded personnel.
