About The Position

BlueScope is hiring a Production Associate to assist with production activities, including loading and unloading materials from machines, conveyors, and mobile equipment; supplying or holding materials and tools; inspecting or wrapping products; and stacking and banding materials. The role involves assembling materials with a torque gun, placing products on equipment or work surfaces, and using measuring tools and processes to inspect work before, during, and after production. Associates also participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities and support housekeeping and organizational standards such as 5-S. Training and professional development are offered, and candidates with or without prior production experience are welcome. The schedule is Sunday night through Friday morning, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with some overtime required. Pay is $20.61 per hour plus a $2.00-per-hour shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from machines, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Supply or hold materials and tools, and assist with placing products on equipment or work surfaces.
• Assemble materials using a torque gun.
• Use measuring tools and processes to inspect materials before, during, and after production to ensure they meet specifications.
• Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Support housekeeping and organizational standards, including 5-S practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
