About The Position

Operates machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment, following quality and productivity requirements safely and under direct guidance. The position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stop work and immediately report major injury hazards; report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards.
• Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations; use appropriate personal protective equipment; look out for coworkers; correct hazards within one's control and capabilities; minimize negative environmental impacts; and participate in HSE training.
• Follow applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures; raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures; perform quality inspections; and identify and control non-conforming material.
• Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to the required characteristics and dimensions, meeting customer expectations.
• Achieve production goals and work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, perform routine housekeeping and machine-cleaning tasks, and carry out planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
• Remain flexible and perform other duties as needed to meet production goals.
• Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain equipment and identify equipment requiring repair.
• Communicate effectively with the assigned team and support teams.
• Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.
• Participate in improvements to quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
