About The Position

Operates machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment, following quality and productivity requirements and working under direct guidance. The position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Responsibilities

Stop work and immediately report major injury hazards; report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards.
Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, policies, procedures, and regulations; use appropriate personal protective equipment; look out for others; correct hazards within one's control and capabilities; minimize negative environmental impacts; and participate in HSE training.
Follow applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures; raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposure; perform quality inspections; and identify and control non-conforming material.
Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to required characteristics and dimensions and meet customer expectations.
Achieve production goals and work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, perform routine housekeeping and machine cleaning, and carry out planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals.
Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain equipment and identify equipment requiring repair.
Communicate effectively with the assigned team and support teams.
Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.
Participate in efforts to improve quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
